PRE- Registration Instructions

1. Fill out the Lonestar Registration form including location preference, preferred training night, and player age group and gender.
2. Fill out the STYSA Registration form
3. Pay $25 commitment fee. Submit post-dated checks for remainder of training fees (Jan 15, Feb 15 and March 15) with registration forms. Cash, check or credit card accepted

LONESTAR SC San Antonio Academy

 

 

 

Lonestar Soccer Academy is the premier youth development program for U8, U9, & U10 players in San Antonio. Our program is designed specifically for those players who desire advanced training from the Lonestar professional staff. The Academy program emphasizes developing the complete players in all 4 pillars of the game including: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological. All Academy players are expected to demonstrate focus, and a willingness to compete and develop as they prepare for select soccer.

 

 

 

 

The Lonestar Academy provides:

• A schedule of 8-10 local games. Fall only, plus 4 or more friendlies against other Lonestar SC teams.
• The only club in San Antonio to provide its own additional competitive friendlies against Austin Lonestar Academy teams ensuring games are developmentally competitive throughout the season.
• 3 different locations to choose from in the San Antonio area.
• 16 week season and all training led by a professional staff.
• Our coaches are all licensed and many have coached at every level including the state, regional, and national level team levels.
• Two nights of weekly training, optional training opportunities available
• Goal Keeper training for the younger player.
• Professional game-day coaching
• Group Academy picture day for all Academy players
• End of season medal ceremony and "Academy Graduation" banquet
• Opportunity for parents & players to familiarize themselves with the Lonestar Soccer Club philosophy, values and methods.

Academy Players participate in one or more tournaments throughout the season. Several tournaments recently participated in include:

• Town & Country Fall Festival
• Lonestar Academy Classic
• FC Dall Pre-Thanksgiving Day Tournament
• Copa Lonestar

Lonestar SC Premier Academy League

 

The Lonestar Soccer Club administers the Lonestar Premier Academy League. This is the largest academy league in the Austin area with over 100 teams competing between San Antonio, Buda and Austin. All teams that training in the Lonestar network are eligible to play in this league. Players may often be asked to guest play with the most advanced youth players in the South Texas region.

Uniforms

 

A day of uniform fittings and ordering for each team will be scheduled by Lonestar SC / SA Academy. Each player will be required to purchase a uniform kit which will include 2 game jerseys, game shorts and socks, and a practice t-shirt. the price of the uniform kit is $60 and is not included in the training fees.
